Paz e sossego no encontro de mim mesma.
Paz e sossego no caminho do meu sangue.
Paz e sossego no cultivar da minha aldeia.
Paz e sossego no tempo mais adiante.
Paz e sossego na alma dos que me ouvem -
e até dos que nem ouço.
Paz e sossego na voz de quem me fala -
e até na dos que se calam.
Paz e sossego na carne de quem sofre ( na resignação desse andor):
a todos os que respiram amor -
e até a quem dele desconhece o sabor.
Paz e sossego nas curvas sinuosas das estradas lacrimosas.
Paz e sossego nos cárceres contrafeitos : coragem nesses peitos -
resistência na vanguarda.
Paz e sossego na busca que nunca se alcança -
na meta da descrença:
na história que se lança.
Paz e sossego na luta do vai e vem: no rio que não volta -
no mar que te sustem.
Paz e sossego nas mágoas em redor: só dor - muita dor:
banhada em suor.
Paz e sossego nas forças que se perdem -
nas fraquezas que se amparam :
nos sonhos que voaram.
Paz e sossego nisto que é a vida: aparente beco sem saída -
saúde no percurso da mãe ferida.
Paz e sossego na alegria do acordar -
longo espreguiçar :
da ausência de morte o celebrar.
Paz no amor : sossego no amar:
sem complicar: simples tocar.
É tudo: pleno estar.

Peace and quiet in the way of my blood.
Peace and quiet in the growing of my village.
Peace and quiet in time ahead.
Peace and quiet in the listeners' souls -
and even in those I don't listen to.
Peace and quiet in the speakers' voices -
and even in the shutters'.
Peace and quiet in the sufferers' flesh (in the resignation of that andor):
to all those who breathe love -
even to the ones who ignore its flavour.
Peace and quiet in the sinuous curves of lachrymroses roads.
Peace and quiet in the constrained gaols:
courage in those bosoms- resilience in the forefront.
Peace and quiet in the never attained quest -
in the disbelief goals: the released story.
Peace and quiet in the turn around fight:
in the not returning river - sustained ocean.
Peace and quiet in the surrounding sorrows-
only pain - lots of pain: soaked in sweat.
Peace and quiet in the losing strength -
supported weakness: flying dream.
Peace and quiet in this that's life: apparent blind alley-
health in the hurt mother's deadlock.
Peace and quiet in the awakening joy-
long arms stretching: death absence celebrating.
Peace in LOVE: quiet in LOVING:
without complicating: simple TOUCH.
That's all: plain BEING.
